Low light...mercury morning...

Mulan has never been afraid of being herself. Even though she at times happend to stand out a little more than others, she's never really had any problems getting along with people, be it either the popular ones or the geeks.
While still having it easy making friends, Mulan still choose at times to be on her own to be able to fully focus on her drawings, her one and true passion (as she likes to put it).  
Of course this didn't mean she minded company. She hardly gets botherd by anything, and if someone where to try and annoy her on purpose, she is and always will be an exprect at ignoring them.
Even when having no problem getting along with any group of people, Mulan has always felt a great irritation when it came to the 'popular kids', especilly the bullies and the ones who thought they own the school grounds. She was never afraid to tell those kids off, be it telling the teachers on them or simply throwing a smart-ass comment back at their faces that shut them up.
Mulan seemed to have the bad luck to always end up on the wrong place at the wrong time, thus wittnesing someone being bullied or catching someone doing something they shouldn't be doing. Seeing as people barely noticed her if she stayed quiet in the background, she was at times called 'creepy', wich to her only made her chuckle in amusement.
Mulan has always gave out the impression to being a kind and gentle person, but people never really understood what exactly she was thinking or feeling. Mulan liked it better that way, still not offended in the least if she was to catch some name calling about her.

Before the event, Mulan had started to grow a small crush on a certain blonde. Not that she ever really cared enough to act out on her feelings and try her luck (she never saw reason enough too), she was happy enought to watch Cale from afar, having a couple of skecthes in one of her many drawing pads of him.
The day everyone's life involed changed dramaticlly, Mulan had been sitting in the library sketching Cale when the sound of gunshots had teared her out of her own little world. Dropping her things in panic and confustion, she had ran out to the halls, only to freeze in horror at the sight that awaited her.
She couldn't exactly remember what had happend the next second, only feeling te burning pain in her abdomen, and seeing her own blood seeping through her clothes.

Mulan had been one of the few lucky ones that day. She had convinced everyone close to her she was fine, not exactly knowing how to deal with her true fear if having bean so close to death or the fact that ahd been crushing on the killer.
She forced herself to move on, and acted mostly like the incident never happend. She was well aware of herself that she needed some sort of help after four years of nigthmares, and therefor went on the trip with the desperate need to get away from it all.




Personality: Mulan has always been an open minded and artistic young girl. Observant, sometimes quick-witted and always having this mysterious aura to her. She easily lets herself get sucked into her own world of wonders whenever she's in her more creative moods, and thus also sees things in a different ways than others.
She's independent, calm & well mannered, and even though she appears to be of the more quiet and shy type she has no problem making herself heard among the rest if she wishes too.

Family: Mulan is an only child, and her current only relative is her grandmother who pretty much raised her on her own.
