Lets Play A Game (Tags: Newcomers :D)

The newcomers woke up to find themselves alone on the beach, resting against a small bag of nessacary items was a note addressed to The Newcomers, inside was a letter telling them they were to stay at the beach and enjoy their time there, if they didn't someone would get hurt or worse. They would have enough supplies to last them through a day at the most.

Chel roused herself from her rest. There was a bag near her and others who were 'asleep'. She grabbed her head and stood up. There seemed to be enough of everything to get them by for the day. She groaned and took her black maxi dress in hand. She cut a slit in it and moved into the brush. She knew a little bit about hunting. Her uncle taught her the ways of the Mayans and primitive hunting. She had this.

Eric woke up with a small, gasping start. His hand instinctively moves to his head. "Grr." He growls in pain he was seeing double. If he understood correctly, he was seeing double of a beautiful woman. He stumbles up and holds his hands out to steady himself. He notices the note and shakes his head once more. Yes, she was a woman, and yes, she was awake.
"Good evening," He says politely with a smile.

Chel tilted her head to the side as she took a knife from the bag. She was a little apprehensive of him and she gave a nod as she started sharpening the blade. It was late in the evening so she needed a little time to get in the water. She walked into the water and started her work, stabbing fish and using the hem of her dress to string them together for the catch.

Nakoma groaned as she sat up. She looked around, not entirely sure of what happened... "Poca!" She gasped when she saw her sister just a few feet away from her. She moved over to her and looked her over. She felt relieved when she was saw she was okay from the looks of it.

She looked up at the two talking. "Any of you know what is going on?" She asked, looking around at the others who were unconscious.

"Not a clue. Just woke up. There was a note that said remain on the beach and no one gets hurt. I don't remember any of you but I don't want that kind of blood on my hands." Chel said as she continued fishing.

Pocahontas had been passed out for a bit, and was starting to have a dream about her exams. She was aceing every one of them, and was having a great day. The more she dreamed about this, the more she started to curl up in the sand, completely oblivious to what was really going on. It wasn't until her sister called her name, before talking to other people that she was stirred a little bit. Causing her to curl up more. "Five more minutes.." She groaned, before trying to go back to sleep. Not really wanting to go to school yet, she kept wanting to dream the dream she was having before she was awake. Especially since it was her dream that she would ace them all, and finally get the degree she had been wanting.

Though, before she could even relax for five more minutes, she suddenly felt Nakoma's slap and heard her yell at her to wake up and that they were in a situation. Causing her to tighten her eyes. "You're acting like it's death if I don't wake up! Leave me alone!" Pocahontas said, flinging her leg up to gently kick her sister. but instead of kicking, she threw a ton of sand at her sister, causing Pocahontas to wake up immediately to see what she had just felt. When she realized she was laying on the sand, it caused her eyes to widen and sit immediately up before turning around to look at her sister. Thinking she had gone crazy since she didn't wake her up and brought her to a beach.

"Where did you bring me!? Just because I wouldn't wake up, you dragged me to a beach!? I thought it was enough throwing water on me every morning, Nakoma!!" Pocahontas asked, and even though she sounded mad, she was really joking. Feeling the whole situation funny. Her sister had guts, just like her.

(Also forgot to mention these people are the ones who declined going to the island so Cale kidnapped them all to join the fun Wink

Nakoma looked at Chel in complete confusion. "Were you knocked in the head or something? Everyone here is from high school! That's Eric, there's Thomas, Sinbad, my lazy sister, Pocahontas, and so on! ...Did everyone here get an invitation to a reunion?" She asked, getting a bad feeling. This was the same weekend of that high school reunion that she and her sister were invited to... But refused to go because they just wanted that part of their life gone.

She turned when she heard her sister asked for five more minutes, causing her to immediately slap her back. "Get up! We're in a situation!" She said, before getting kicked with sand. "Hey!"

She rolled her eyes at her sister's response to waking up on the beach. "We were kidnapped, Poca." She said, seriously, not even changing her stern look.

Talk about loud, the brunette thought tiredly to himself, ignoring everyone else while sitting comfortably in the sand. His gaze was looking out towards the water, almost seeming content as he sat there taking deep drags from his cigarette.
Inhaling deeply, he lazy breathed out more smoke. He recognized everyone’s faces, but hadn’t even bothered back during school to remember either of their names.
Casting a uninterested glance towards the siblings, Sinbad heard Nakoma mention something about an invitation.
Hmm… Come to think of it, he did receive a letter not too long ago, but he hadn’t even bothered to open it and just threw it out. Like he did with most of useless piece of papers he received.
So that had actually been something worth reading? A low chuckle left his mouth before he took another drag. Whatever it was, it was important enough to get kidnapped over.
“How dull,” he muttered under his breath, laying down on the warm sand and closing his eyes. At least the kidnapper seemed to have had a good taste for vacation spots.

A loud snoring was suddenly heard among group. The young tanned boy had a wide and goofy smile on his face, apparently having a very pleasant dream. He mumbled something uncomprehending under his breathe, turned around until his face partially kissing the sand. Waking him up would surely make him unhappy.
He jolted awake the next second, coughing out sand while flailing his arm around. When finally catching his breath, he lowered his arms to look around with a confused look. “Umm….” Was he could think up to say it seemed, giving everyone around questioning looks.
He realized slowly that he hadn’t seen anyone here… since four years ago. He felt his typical paranoia crawling back when more question and confusion arose.
He hated not knowing what’s going on, which used to happen a whole awful lot to him. Bad luck just liked him that much.
He opened his mouth to try and ask if someone else here had clue what was going, only to start spitting out more sand.

Jasmine jolted awake and froze as she noticed that she wasn't in her apartment, "Where...what?" She asked out loud as she sat up, was she on a beach? There were other people on the beach, and she started to recognize them as the people she had gone to high school with. "No....oh please no." She muttered as she put her head in her hands, she hadn't wanted to come here. No one seemed really upset other then Pocahontas and Nakoma, she was trying really hard not to have a panic attack. "I need a drink." She muttered under her breath as she put her head in her hands, it seemed the nightmare she had been dealing with were coming back.....literally.

Chel finished fishing and looked at Nakoma. She didn't like being snapped at for not remembering. She hadn't seen these people since high school. Of course, she didn't remember them and what letter? Most of her mail was often getting mixed up at her apartment. That lazy mail man had a nasty habit of that.

"Look. Most of you didn't talk to me in high school anyway. School Slut remember?" She snapped as she threw the fish onto the beach, near Jasmine, "We're running out of daylight. I don't suppose any of you went camping?"

She waited for an answer as she started to build a fire. It took a couple of minutes but once done. She took an knife and started gutting the fish and propped them on sticks like she had when she was camping with her uncle so many years ago.

Sinbad didn't even as much as blink when Chel snapped,in fact his eyes remained contently closed as he laid on the still warm sand, not seeming that much concerned over their situation whatsoever.
He honestly hand't botherd with barely anyone in school, except for maybe his cousin and that Herc guy. It was always amusing making the big guy snapp for no reason at all. SO in other words, those two was only for his amusment.
As for the rest, they were only a waste fo time anyway. The only one he cared about from the shcool grounds would be Katherine. But he barely spent anytime in shcool back then anyhow sooo... yeah.
He couldn't help but snicker at Chel's question. Camping? Now that he could.
He still didn't move to help though, and apparetnly Chel didn't seem to need any help with it either.

Aladdin was sulking to himself, wishing not for the first time that he'd stayed asleep. It had been a really nice dream this time.... Him and an unbelivable beautiful blonde woman alone, running towards each other in a field with flowers and with rain made of chocolate. And oh, he could also throw all of his medications down a vulcano... that was pretty nice too.
Snapping out of his daydream when Chel spke up, he almsot flew up on his feet, only to stumble over his feet and fall down again. Face first. And now he had his mouth full of sand again.
Oh joy.
Brushing off most of the sand as he stood up,he glanced carefully towards where Chel had started a fire and wa snow busy with gutting the fish. He inwardly made a grimace, havign never liked either the smell or tatse of fish but knew he had no right to complain... Which reminded him, where the HELL where they and what the HELL was going on???

Eric closes his eyes and holds the bridge of his nose. Everyone was so tense already. It made his shoulders ache. "Let's all just, calm down."
He, like Sinbad, was nearly never at school. He played hookie nine tenths of the time. So seeing these people was completely new to him. Except for Chel, who reclaimed her title of school slut. "I can camp," He raises his hand before opening his eyes again. "I can also show you how to get the entrails from those fish. And what exactly are in the supplies?"

"They're in the bag. I never really looked that deep into it. There was a knife, some blanket and other things. I took the knife obviously." Chel said as she finished gutting the fish and began cooking them on the fire. She looked to see that there were a few containers of water, so she went into the brush and looked for any type of tropical fruit and came across a bright flower. She stared at it intently and started to reach for it.

Not knowing it was poisonious.

After getting all the sand out of his mouth (again), Aladdin had casually glanced over to where Chel was. As he was busy trying to think up different ways to not panic at the moment (which was starting to become quite hard for a paranoid person like him....) he decided to go follow and offer some help.
When he was close enough he came to a halt, trying to see what she was looking at. After squinting his eyes slihgtly and just stare for a short moment, he suddenly let out a loud gasp and nearly jumped to where she stood.
"Don't touch that!" he cried out, grabbing her wrist before her fingers would've touched the flower.

Thomas rubbed his head as he sat up. "Why is everyone shouting?" He asked, before looking around. When did he get to the beach?

He watched as a few people bickered. He could have sworn he had been at work... He took a nap in the break room like he normally did...

He heard someone mentioned being kidnapped and it clicked in his mind. "Oh boy..." He mumbled, figuring he lost his job now... No one would think to assume he had been kidnapped. He didn't have much family and at work he hardly spoke to anyone he didn't have to...

Nakoma stood up. "Look, what do you need me too do? And sorry for snapping... This is just all so crazy." She said, looking at Chel. She looked over when Aladdin fell a second time. "Ouch..." She mumbled, before seeing the two of them go off for supplies.

Nakoma looked over at Sinbad, seeing him just laying there. "Let me guess, no care in the world?" She asked, with a raised eyebrow. "You're not the least bit worried that something might happen to us?" She asked, not believing he could be so relaxed.

She picked up the letter and read it over again. ...Says we're supposed to enjoy ourselves... How the heck can we do that? She thought, before looking out at the ocean.

The flower seemed to hold her attention. The fain hues of purple almost called to her. Her fingertips were reaching for it as though she couldn't help herself. It was releasing a gentle aroma when she felt someone grab her wrist. The skin on skin contact frightened her. She looked at Aladdin gripping her wrist and she looked back at the flower. She pulled her hand away and clasped her wrist.

"Why not?" She aked, softly.

Aladdin almsot looked annoyed for a quick second, before turning all embarrassed backing off a few steps, hands in air as if he's afraid Chel would bite of his hand or something. "B-b-b-beacuse...!" he stammred, willing himself to calm down and lower his arms. "It's poisonious," he finally said. He knew, being a plant lover and all... or whatever some guys used to call him.
Clearning his throut he gave her an apologetic look. "S-sorry for grabbing you like that..." he aplogized, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.

Sinbad still didn't move from his spot, obviously very content with just laying there doing nothing at the moment. He opend one eye to look at Nakoma when she spoke to him, giving her a half smirk before closing it again.
"Would do no good to panic either way," he said simply, yawning loudly.
To say he wasn't concerned at all would be a bit of a lie. Of course he was wondeirng how and who might've done this, the reason and the point to it all. But he didn't see any reason to lose his head over it either. Because really, what good would that do?
He was curious most of all... He wouldn't mind meeting whoever ti was who had arranged all this.

Chel blushed and looked down at her sanded feet. She was a little embarrassed from getting frightened that easily but... Aladdin was cute and he seemed a little unsure of himself.

"It's okay. Thank you." She said as she was falling into her true timid behavior. She was trying not to shake. She was afraid of everything. She looked at Aladdin... She remembered having a crush on him but because of her Rep. She never had the option to saw she liked him then.

Eric smirks at Sinbad who just yawned. He wished he could be as calm and careless as he was. "Sinbad, what's up," He recalled seeing him around the city as they would be gone at the same time. Though Eric did often remain in the forest; where it was peaceful.
"Well, it's good you knew what that flower was. I don't really do tropical plants. I could tell you about posion ivy for days though." Eric frowns, running a hand through his black hair. "That isn't much... for the supplies I mean."

Nakoma gave a sigh. "Guess you're right..." She said, before sitting down. She ended up sitting near him, as she gave a glance at Eric.

She gave another glance at Poca, seeing her still struggling with the idea of what was going on. "Any ideas who would want us all here?" She asked, really no one in particular, she just really needed a conversation going.
