Lets Play A Game (Tags: Newcomers :D)

Eric nods at Kristoff before looking at Charlotte and Jasmine, "Not to be stereotypical or offensive... but either of you wouldn't happen to know how to care for him?"

Charlotte looked at him helplessly. "Sorry no. I can keep him hydrated, make him rest, that sort of thing but if you looking for real medical experience then you shouldn't be looking at me." Charlotte shook her head in the negitive.

"We're on some Island. I don't know much else." She said as she moved her hands to match her speech.

Chel smiled and climbed on the bed that Kris was sitting. She moved behind him and started to massaging his head. She remembered how close the two of them were and that they were like siblings but not like Chel's own. She remembered when the shooting happened how her mother came and got mad at her for not escaping. She didn't know.

There was a lot of noises all around him, what was going on? He felt intoxicated, drugged out even, and incredibly sleepy, but all the sounds around him kept him from that slumber now. His eyes slowly fluttered open, his blurred vision slowly becoming clearer by the moment. He felt something rubbing behind the back of his eye, probably his blue contact moved back there while he was sleeping... He probably had one blue eye and one brown eye thing going on now. Where was he? This wasn't the roof of his bedroom, it was much more different.... It was strange. His head hurt too, like something had whacked him with a rock or something harder. He opened his mouth, but it was so dry that he couldn't make words come out, only letting out soft gasps. With his vision coming back, he saw that there were a few people surrounding him. The question still remained...

Where was he?

"Damn it." Eric mumbles under his breath. He rarely swore, but if this boy's life depended on them, what could they do? He didn't want to live with knowing he could've done something.

Eric glances over to Kristoff who was being massaged by Chel. He was glad. She didn't need him.
Eric then notices the boy's eyes open, "Hey!" Eric says loudly. "Stay with me. I'm Eric. Nod if you understand what I'm saying to you."

Chel looked over to see Eric was in a frenzy. She narrowed her eyes and let out a sigh.

"Eric, he was just unconscious. You shouldn't be yelling at him. His head is probably reeling and your shouting may not be helping." Chel said as she sat on the bed for a brief moment, taking her hands from Kristoff's temples.

Eric throws up his arms. "What do you suggest?" He asks quietly, and as calmly as he can. The kid was about to die for Christ's sake.

"An... Island?"

Kristoff was confused for the most part. How did he even get there in the first place? Could he have been drugged and then shanghaied out? How weird that did sound to him. Suddenly, soft gentle hands rested on his head, slowly rubbing and kneading through his hair and onto his scalp. It was relaxing, calming.... Maybe this would be a good time for him to put his hearing aid back in since Chel was behind him now so he couldn't see her lips or hands moving. He pulled the device out of his pocket and placed it in his ear, the ear that had a bit of the top torn off a long time ago when he was at school. The day everything changed. He remembered his parents asking him if he wanted to get surgery on that to fix his ear to make it look like what it used to, but he said no because it would be too expensive. Also, it served as a reminder of that day....

When he activated the device, Chel had taken her hands off his head, causing him to look in the one man's direction where he was talking to the boy. Did he finally wake up? He hoped that he was okay.

Charlotte looked down at the boy with concern.  She did recognize him from school.  They had just finished graduating together.  They didn't hang out much but they hadn't hung out much.  They had always been a bit like two passing ships in the night.  Aware of each other but never really connecting.

She moved down onto her knees beside Jacks head. She bit her lip worriedly hoping he was ok.

Jack let out a soft groan before trying to set up, his head throbbing still and his eye irritating him. However, sitting up wasn't going to be happening, causing him to plop back down in the bed that he was in. He heard someone saying that he was dying, which he swore to god that he would punch him it that was even happening. He didn't feel like he was dying, just hung over.

"Water....?" He managed to say.

Chel sighed, "I don't know. Keep a calm head? He isn't going to die. If anything, he was like everyone else here. He is dehydrated, coming out of a drug coma and needs to keep his heart rate down."

Chel looked at Kristoff and rubbed his temples again so that his headache would go away. She remembered how many times she had to do this for Mok. He was a restless boss. She waited for Kristoff to tell her to stop once he was relaxed. She didn't mind doing this and would probably need to do the same for the boy.

Chel had went back to rubbing his head, causing Kristoff to place his hands gently over her hands to let her know what she could stop. He turned his head back over to face her and smiled, thanking her for helping him out before going over towards the bed where the boy was at and handing him the bottle of water that he had not even taken a sip of yet.

"Here, drink this."

He said, offering the bottle of water to the boy, who had hesitantly took it, sat up, and started to down it all in one gulp, causing him to go into a coughing fit after the water went down the wrong pipe. Kristoff just laughed slightly at this, lightly patting the boys back to help.

"Glad to see that you're okay. I was worried about you."

Jack had finished coughing, wiping his lips with the sleeve of the blue hoody that he wore before looking towards the bigger man next to him. He felt like he knew him from somewhere, but couldn't put his finger on it on where it was. He then scanned around the whole room, seeing all the people around him. This was really weird.

"Where am I?" He asked in a very hoarse voice.

Chel watched Kristoff move toward the kid that had just woken up. She moved over to the kid and rubbed his back as he went into a coughing fit. Because of her mother raising her to take care of her, Chel naturally possessed matronly talents. She pulled the water away and rested her hand on his back in a comforting manner.

"Slow. No one is going to take it from you." She said softly. "You're on an island like the rest of us. We don't know exactly what's going on."

"Just take it easy Jack."  She said gently. "We're on some island." She told him.

Jack let the woman's words soak in before he opened his mouth.

"How the hell did I get here....?" he said more to himself rather than to anyone else as he tried to remember the last thing he was doing before he woke up here. He was closing up the game store by himself, then was getting ready to head back home... and that was it. Everything went black and he woke up there. He looked at the girl with his off colored eyes again, her face also looking really familiar to him. Who were these people and why did they look so familiar? He especially looked over towards the blond girl, who's face totally jumped out at him, but not enough to remember her name. However.... she knew his.... Was this hangover enough to cause a bit of memory loss? Nah, he was just bad with matching names to faces.

Chel looked at him and saw that he was trying to piece together everything. She remembered him after. She was only a sophomore when she was shot in her back. She remembered him in the few years after when she tried to piece together her life. She stood up.

"We never formally met but I'm Chel. I was a cheerleader. I sort of know you. You were on the swim team." She whispered.

"... Right... I think I remember you now..." he said, trying to think more about high school, much to his disdain. A lot of faces passed through in his head, a lot of them were blurred because they were either upper classmen or the faces of people that he knew for a bit but ended up moving away from the school after it's incident. Only a few people actually stayed in the high school after the shooting, Jack being one of them. Even though his parents tried to get him to change schools, he couldn't leave the school because Jamie was there, and that was reason enough to stay. He was part of the memorial committee that put together the memorial garden, and would usually be the one to tend to it throughout his high school career.

Kristoff watched the boy carefully, seeing that something was going on with one of his eyes. He thought it was strange to see two totally different looking colored eyes, but when he realized he was staring too much, he looked away slightly before looking back towards Chel who said that he was on the swim team. He thought to himself, trying to remember who he knew from the swim team. Of course, he didn't remember anyone that looked like this boy on the team though. Kristoff was finally caught staring by the boy, who had a pretty intimidating looking stare.

"S-Sorry, I was looking at your eyes... It's odd to see two different colored eyes and stuff." He said, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment.

Charlotte shifted herself over. "Here lets get you at least sitting up." She wrapped her arm around his shoulders and started trying to sit him up letting him lean against her. "We don't want the water spilling all over you." She said trying to make a bit of a joke.

Thomas rubbed his forehead, getting a headache from everyone running around. People had gotten in his way when he had been trying to get a look at the boy. Some of them still seemed to be acting like chicken's with their heads cut off.

Getting annoyed that they weren't even cleaning Jack's wound, he suddenly took his shirt off, not even caring that everyone would see his abs, before he took the water. "Stay still, we need to clean your wound." He said, in a stern voice that the others have never heard from him in high school. He poured some of the water onto a corner of his shirt, before he reached up and started cleaning the wounded on the younger guy's head.


{OOC: seeing as no one cleaned it... At least, when I read over the posts it showed no one cleaned it.}

Charlotte's eyes widened when the guy took his shirt off. He was hot. She blushed as she moved a bit to get out of his way.

Eric could see Thomas cleaning Jack's wound so he backs away; noticing the blush on Charlotte's face. Did he looks so timid and vulnerable when he blushed too? His hand instinctively moves up to his cheek at the thought. It was rather odd that Jack had two different colored eyes. Was that genetic?

Jack just blinked at the other, wondering what the heck he was talking about before realizing that one of his contacts must of moved to the back of his eye. That was going to be a pain to fix.

"I don't have two different eye colors, I have colored contacts. Hold on, I'll fix it real quick..."

As gross as it looked, Jack went to figure out which eye had the contact in, and which one didn't but probing his eyes with the tip of his finger. It seemed to of been the left eye that was missing the contact, so what he did was close that eye and move his eye around under his lid. He felt something move towards in the corner of that eye, meaning that the contact didn't move completely to the back of his eye, and opened his eye to move his eye around again before the lense slowly moved to the center of his eye, covering the chocolate iris with a bright blue one. He looked back towards the blond man, who looked very squirmish because he watched him fix his contacts.

Suddenly, there was a shirtless guy next to him, dabbing a wet cloth that appeared to be the shirt that he was wearing on his forehead. Blood rushed to his cheeks, causing him to stay silent and let the man do his job.

Chel moved out of the way when Charlotte started to sit him up. She stood next to Kristoff and looked at the two of them when Thomas took off his shirt. Her face lit up bright red. Other than her appearances in Music Videos, she had never seen a man in this way at any time. She liked the way he looked and she didn't want to do anything to embarrass herself so she gazed at that amazing form of male goodness. She would enjoy this sight so much.
