Lets Play A Game (Tags: Newcomers :D)

Eric reenters the room, Chel having gotten into her bed. He immediately notices the somewhat unnerved expression on Thomas's face as he converses with Jasmine. His eyes search for Nakoma as he soon realizes she isn't at her bed.

Moreover, calming a blonde who's losing her marbles. "Whoa who's this? Is she okay? Are you okay?" Eric asks Nakoma, concerned. She looked so young...

Charlotte took a deep breath and nodded.  "Yeah ok.  Right."  She more comely looked around taking in the things around them.  She saw the other people.  Men and woman all talking an looking disheveled like herself.  "Why would they bring us here?"  She asked in confusion. She looked over at the tall dark haired man that came over to them. "Charlotte." She said looking up at him with her big blue doe eyes.

Eric blinks at how large her eyes were, and how they matched his. "Eric, if you don't mind, how old are you? You look like you should still be in high school." He says.

Nakoma looked up at Eric when he came over. "She graduated just a few nights ago..." She said, softly.

Everything was getting crazier by the minute...

Charlotte reached out her hand and smiled at him gently.  She knew she looked young, in some ways she knew she took advantage of that with some.  People protected her because she looked so defenseless and she would usually just let them.

Eric takes her hand, "Sorry I usually offer my hand first but I'm still- a few nights? Really? Were you even-" Eric stops as knots fill in his stomach at the thought. Eric shakes her hand.

There was that ringing sound again, that loud... nauseating ringing sound that would just never go away. It had always been there since that one time, long, long ago. It would always cause trouble with his hearing, not that he had much hearing left in him. Finally, the ringing went down and the sounds of waves crashing against a shore was now being heard. The smell of salt filled his nose as he started to come to, out of unconsciousness. He raised his body up to look around, blinking slowly to make sure that he wasn't dreaming. He... He was on a beach? How could he have-? Wasn’t he just at home? Kristoff’s head started aching and the ringing was coming back louder than ever, causing him to cover his ears. While covering them, he felt an emptiness in one of his ears, the lacking of something that’s usually supposed to have been there at all times. His hearing aid! Where could it of gone?

Franticly, Kristoff searched in the sand for the small device to see where it could have gone. Finally, his hand brushed against something plastic feeling, causing him to let out a huge sigh of relief as he picked it up out of the sand. Dusting off the bits of sand off of the device and making sure it wasn’t completely broken, Kristoff placed it back into his ear and turned it on. It helped him hear normally to an extent, like with soft spoken people and hearing alarms and phones ringing. Other than that, he mainly relied on being able to read people’s lips or signing. Searching around, he saw another figure on the beach he was on and headed over towards them. It was a boy, not even twenty… much younger, like in his late teens, with bleached white hair lying face down in the sand. Kristoff nudged at the boy’s shoulder to wake him up before rolling him gently over to see that the boy was bleeding from his forehead. Worried, Kristoff stood up and looked around more at his surroundings before shouting.

“Is there anyone out there? Hey! Anyone!? Help?”

It only took him about five minutes before realizing that even if there was anyone out there, he probably wouldn't be able to hear them if they were further than a five mile radius of him. Cursing softly, he bent back over the boy after tearing a long strip from the bottom of his shirt to wrap it around the boy’s head to stop the bleeding before picking the boy up in his arms to carry him, not wanting to leave him there at all. Trudging on, he walked the beach, hoping he would see at least someone who would help them out.

Eric turns his head in alarm, "Did you hear that?" He asked Nakoma and Charlotte. Instead of waiting for an answer he runs out of the bungalow and out to the beach where he sees two people someone hunched over the other.

"Oh my God." He mumbles. "Hey! What's wrong?!" Eric calls as he runs over to them. "What happened? " He demands.

Kristoff was walking slowly long the beach before looking up and seeing someone rushing towards him. Thank God, he didn’t think that there was anyone there. He hoped that there was someone who could do better treatment than what he had done.

“Please help. I don’t know where we are or what’s going on, but he’s hurt and I can’t do much.”

"Okay, okay all right. Thomas!" Eric shouts back towards the house. He didn't know if this guy would stay standing much longer and he didn't want to leave either out here alone.

Eric takes the arm of the boy and drapes it over his back before he starts pulling him as quickly as he can.

Charlotte rushed after him, with Nakoma. "Is he going to be ok?" She asked with concern.

Thomas shot out of bed the moment Eric called his name. He looked at Jasmine before dashing out the door. When he stepped out he saw two more people with Eric and it looked like the younger one was hurt.

He rushed over to them to help. "Let's get inside; he needs to lie down. Give him to me." He said, taking the younger boy in his arms, seeing as the bigger of the two looked like he would pass out soon. He rushed them inside, before laying the boy on one of the beds.

"Do we have any water? We need to clean this; he's got sand in his wound..." He said, looking around at the others.

Eric gives Thomas the boy and ushers the other inside. "Here, sit." He commands. "Hey I don't know. Charlotte is there any tap water? I don't want to use the drinking water unless we really need to." Eric says.

"Hey," Eric scolds the man. "Stay with me." Eric snaps his fingers all around as his eyes drift. He's got a hearing aid in... "Can you hear me?"

Kristoff watched as the boy was pasted over to another man that showed up and took him somewhere. An overwhelming dizziness suddenly struck him as the ringing noise came back, causing him to hold his head slightly. Soon, he was taken into a place by the one who came out before and sat in a chair. The ringing was getting to be so much that he held his head in both of his hands. He could hear a faint clicking sound through the ringing, causing him to look up at the man who was snapping his fingers at him to keep his attention.

"Please... I'm fine... Just give me a few minutes..."

He finally just pulled out his hearing aid to try to silence everything and focus on letting the ringing fade out.

Chel woke up from all the noise. The comfort of her pillow was definitely not enough to keep the voices from intruding in her dream. She opened one eye and the other. She started to sit up and looked at her hands. A faint rash coated them but they seemed to be fine. She heard Eric yell and flipped over frustrated.

"Are you kidding me? Some of us are trying to get some rest!" She snapped, but paused when she saw the large burly man with messy blond hair. "Oh my God... Kris?"

Eric turns at Chel's voice, somewhat satisfied that she was up. "Do you know him? Can you her him some of that water from the supplies? He'll be fine I think it's just a headache nut for the other one I don't know. I don't know what to do bit clean it. Are there any towels?" He asks, leaning over the boy.

Kristoff held his head and closed his eyes to focus on softening the ringing mangling up his brain. Breathing in, then out, then right back in, the ringing slowly went away. He was still a little dizzy, but that was there before the ringing started to happen. Looking up slightly, he saw a familiar face and smiled slightly towards them.

"Hey Chellie... Oh right, you hated being called that..."

He let out a light laugh, holding his still aching head in his hands.

(Pshh I knew that!... lol sorry)

Chel got out of bed and looked through the bags for any and everything. She turned to Eric and shook her head, "No towels."

She walked over to Kristoff, unsure if this was the man she once knew but the closer she moved she became much more hesitant. She pressed her hand to his shoulder to get his attention. She raised her free hand to wave.

"Remember me?"

Kristoff felt a hand on his shoulder, causing his attention to look up at the beautiful woman before him who gave him a small wave and moved her lips. He nearly forgot that he took his hearing aid out to calm down the ringing, so he totally missed what she was saying to him. With a sheepish look, he rubbed the back of his head and smiled towards her.

"Sorry, I missed what you just said. It is you, right, Chellie? It's been a while"

Charlotte hurried over to the sinc and brought the water quickly over to Eric. "Here." She handed it over to him.

Chel sighed and moved her hands. She had only taken sign language because one of the dancer's she worked with couldn't hear well either. She asked him if he remembered her. Of course, he did call her 'Chellie', a rather annoying name that the Football players called her after a freak chili dog incident that happened at a homecoming game.

Damn those cheerleaders. She mentally cursed.

She puffed her cheeks in frustration and was about to yell at him when she calmed down. If she were stuck in her cheerleading ways... She would have snapped.

"Thanks," Eric grins at Charlotte and offers it to Kristoff.

"It's good to see you again, you look so different... In a good way of course. He saw her cheeks puff out in annoyance and laughed slightly again, apologizing for the nickname. Finally, he glanced over towards the others who were taking care of the boy he found, thanked the man who gave him the water and looked over at Chel.

"..... Do you know exactly what is going on? Where are we?"
